How to request a correction
Email corrections@oregoncoastdailynews.com with the link to the story, the passage in question and, if possible, a source that shows the correct information. Editor Marnie Holcomb reviews every request.
What we do
When we confirm an error of fact, we correct the story and add a note at the end explaining what was changed and when. Minor fixes to spelling or style that do not change meaning may be made without a note.
We do not remove accurate stories on request. If a story is incomplete or a situation has changed, we will consider an update.
