Sheriff Dennis Dotson is hosting another Town Hall Meeting on Thursday, April 18. This is the 14th Town Hall hosted by Sheriff Dotson since these meetings were started in 2006. This Town Hall will be held at the Gleneden Beach Fire Hall from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sheriff Dotson notes, “That while the meeting is being held in Gleneden Beach, citizens from around the county are welcome to attend.”
Citizens will hear from Sheriff’s Office Division Commanders and the Sheriff. Citizens will also view the most recent Sheriff’s Office Community Video and learn about improvements in jail operations, what’s happening in the area of emergency preparedness, programs in the Animal Shelter, and much more.
As with all previous Town Halls, the last half of the scheduled meeting time is reserved for citizens to offer their suggestions and ask questions. “This always turns out to be the most enjoyable portion of the meeting,” said Sheriff Dotson.
