On July 23, 2015 at about 12:45PM, OSP Troopers and emergency personnel responded to the report of a single vehicle crash on Highway 18 near milepost 12 (e ast of Lincoln City).
Upon emergency crews arriving, they found a 1999 Ford F250 Pickup at the bottom of the bank of the Little Salmon River. The operator, Ladrue V CRAMER, age 76, of Sherwood, was pronounced deceased upon arrival of emergency crews.
Preliminary information indicates CRAMER’s vehicle was traveling eastbound on Highway 18 when it drifted off the roadway and he lost control. The vehicle continued off the roadway and landed upside down in the Little Salmon River. CRAMER was wearing his safety belt.
OSP was assisted by the Oregon Department of Transportation, North Lincoln Fire and Rescue, West Valley Medics, Tillamook County District Attorney’s Office and Pacific West Ambulance.
