Every Halloween, monsters, zombies, super heroes and princesses fill the streets to celebrate. And if that’s not scary enough, October 31 is one of the deadliest nights of the year for pedestrians.

In Oregon, ODOT Fatality Analysis Reporting Section (FARS) reports a frightening statistic with 10 fatal crashes on Halloween night between 2006 and 2015. 70 percent were alcohol- and/or drug-involved crashes.
