Depoe Bay Fire along with crews from the Oregon Department of Forestry are currently responding to a forest fire of over 50-acres east of Depoe Bay. The exact location is unknown at this time. There is a lot of smoke reported in Depoe Bay, Toledo, Lincoln City and Newport. Citizens are asked to please not call 911 to report the smoke. Only Call 911 if there is an emergency. The fire is not reported to be endangering any homes or buildings at this time. We will have more details as they become available.
