Samaritan Pacific Communities Hospital Auxiliary is hosting a Books Are Fun fundraiser on Tuesday, Nov. 29, and Wednesday, Nov. 30, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., in the hospital’s Education Conference Room.
At this fundraising sale, shoppers will find hard cover and paperback books, coffee table books, books for children and unique gifts. All items are new and offered at prices up to 70 percent off at this auxiliary-sponsored book fair. Major credit cards, checks and cash are accepted, and everyone is welcome.
Sale proceeds and hospital gift shop profits are used for scholarships and grants to hospital employees to continue their education, to purchase equipment for departments within the hospital and for scholarships to the Oregon Coast Community College nursing program.
