On the morning of September 11, 2016, Lincoln County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the 700 block of N. River Bend Road in Otis, Oregon on a report of a drive by shooting into a residence that occurred the night before at approximately 11:30 PM. The home was occupied by five adults and one child when the shooting occurred, but no injuries were reported.

The investigation revealed the residents of the home initially believed the noise heard was fireworks but discovered evidence in the morning that indicated an unknown suspect(s) shot in the direction of their home. Witnesses contacted reported seeing an unknown male subject associated with a silver or tan early 2000’s model Toyota or Honda four door sedan in the area just prior to the shooting.
