On May 11, 2016 at approximately 7:23pm, Lincoln County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to a criminal mischief report at Bill’s Chevron in Waldport, Oregon. An employee at the location reported a female walked into the women’s restroom and spray painted graffiti in large letters on the wall. A short time later, additional callers reported the same female had spray painted graffiti on a traffic signal pole at the intersection of Highway 101 and Highway 34 and also on a vacant business building in the 100 Block of SW Highway 101.
Sergeant Adam Shanks responded and located the female, identified as 35 year old Waldport resident Nicole Kolina Carlson, in the 200 block of SW Maple Street. Carlson was detained and interviewed. Investigation revealed a total of four separate locations of painted graffiti. Carlson was subsequently arrested on four counts of Criminal mischief II and lodged at the Lincoln County Jail. Her bail was set at $60,000.
