Lieutenant Curtis Landers and Kathy Brier, Samaritan Center for Health Education (CHE) Building Manager, demonstrate the new Automated External Defibrillator (AED) donated to the CHE by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office. Since the CHE opened in July 2015, the Sheriff’s Office has conducted eight health-related activities, including Driving Under the Influence intervention training and an Oregon Fallen Officer Foundation presentation.
“The Center for Health Education is a great facility and our community is fortunate to have it,” said Landers. “We have used it a lot and plan to use it even more in the future so we wanted to help support its operation.” The AED is used to help revive heart attack victims.
