The local AARP Tax-Aide Program provides free electronic filing of Federal and Oregon state income tax returns for middle and low-income taxpayers. Started in 1968, AARP Tax-Aide is the nation’s largest free, volunteer run tax preparation program serving millions of taxpayers. Tax-Aide volunteers are available to prepare current year, prior year or amended returns, determine whether or not you need to file a return, or answer any other tax questions you might have. AARP membership is not a requirement to receive assistance and no appointment is necessary.
