On October 14th 2015 Lincoln City Police Department detectives and officers executed a search warrant at 2312 NE 34th Street unit #39 in Lincoln City. The warrant execution stemmed from an investigation into the trafficking of illegal narcotics in the Lincoln City area.
During a search of the residence investigators located evidence including a quantity of suspected heroin, a quantity of suspected methamphetamine, as well as drug use paraphernalia and evidence related to the trafficking of both heroin and methamphetamine.

Arrested in connection with the investigation were Rodney Allen Ladd age 25 of Lincoln City (pictured left) and Corey Dean Starnes age 31  of Newport.
Ladd was charged with Manufacture, Delivery and Possession of Heroin and Manufacture, Delivery and Possession of Methamphetamine.
Starnes was charged with Possession and Delivery of Methamphetamine. Both were lodged at the Lincoln County Jail.
The investigation into the narcotics trafficking occurring from this residence is continuing and investigators anticipate additional arrests.
