Three Arrested For Meth In Toledo

On Wednesday, December 14th, 2017 The Toledo Police Department with the assistance of the Lincoln City Police Department, The Newport Police Department and the Newport K9 unit, The Oregon State Police and the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office conducted a narcotics related search warrant on the residence of 277 NE 10th Street in the City of Toledo.  The search warrant was the result of an investigation into the ongoing distribution of heroin and methamphetamine in the Lincoln County area.

During the execution of the search warrant Officers located methamphetamine, digital drug scales, packaging material, drug records, paraphernalia related to the distribution of heroin and methamphetamine and suspected stolen property.

The search warrant lead to the arrest of John “Cliff” Brown, Desirea Nickerson and Angela Rabideau.    Brown was lodged at the Lincoln County Jail for Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine, and Unlawful Delivery of Methamphetamine.  Nickerson was lodged at the Lincoln County Jail for Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine and Frequenting a Place Where Controlled Substances are Used.  Rabideau was lodged at the Lincoln County Jail for Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine.  Additional charges and arrests are expected as a result of the investigation.

This investigation was aided and initiated in part by observant concerned citizens who recognized suspicious activity occurring at the residence and reported it to the Toledo Police Department.  The Toledo Police Department encourages citizens to report suspicious drug activity to Detective Pitcher at 541-336-5555.
