Oregon Coast Community College and the Greater Newport Chamber of Commerce are gearing up to host a new session of the Leadership Lincoln Program, now in its 26th year. Those interested are invited to become part of a select group of 30 to 40 participants for the 2017-2018 class. The goal of this program is to develop leadership and management skills for individuals who have interest and commitment in the future of Lincoln County and to provide networking opportunities that will enhance positive professional and organizational growth. The program features interesting and informative guest speakers who present a variety of timely topics chosen to better inform participants about key issues in Lincoln County.
Classes will be held once a month on the second Wednesday of each month from September through June. All classes begin at 8:30 am and conclude at 2:30 pm. The program concludes with a celebration dinner and graduation ceremony in June 2018. Tuition for the Leadership Lincoln Program is $495. Partial scholarships are considered on a case by case basis and payment plans are available. Tuition covers the cost of all class materials, refreshments, lunches and the graduation dinner. Participants also earn six college credits upon completion of the program. Columbia Bank is offering one scholarship for Leadership Lincoln to a person who works for a non profit organization.
