Lebanon Bank Robber Arrested In Lincoln City

During the early morning hours of Wednesday June 14th detectives from the Lebanon police department contacted Lincoln City police for assistance in locating a suspect in a bank robbery of a Chase Bank that was committed in their jurisdiction. The suspect from that robbery that occurred June 6th was reported to possibly be in Lincoln City. Lincoln City police officers located the suspect vehicle at a local hotel.

Lincoln City police officers kept the hotel under surveillance until detectives from the Lebanon police department arrived on scene. With the assistance of additional police officers from Newport and Lincoln County Sheriff’s Deputies the suspect was located and arrested without incident as he exited the hotel. The suspect was identified as 37-year old Jeffrey Martin Lee Peak of Albany. After the arrest he was transported back to Lebanon by Lebanon police. The case continues to be under investigation by Lebanon police.
