Two Arrested After Officers Find Heroin And Meth In A Lincoln City Home

On March 7th, 2016 Lincoln City Police investigators, with assistance from the Oregon State Police Special Weapons and Tactics Team (SWAT), members of the Tillamook Narcotics Team and Agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tabaco and Firearms executed a search warrant at 1640 NW 28th Street in Lincoln City. The warrant execution stemmed from an investigation into the trafficking of illegal narcotics in the Lincoln City area. Information was developed during the investigation that led Lincoln City Police investigators to request the assistance of the Oregon State Police SWAT Team in order to ensure the safety of officers participating in the investigation as well as the safety of the community.

During a search of the residence investigators located evidence including a quantity of suspected heroin, a quantity of suspected methamphetamine, as well as drug use paraphernalia and evidence related to the trafficking of both heroin and methamphetamine. Arrested in connection with the investigation were Andrew Ward Sakran, (47), of Lincoln City and Anthony Glenn Curran Jr. (24) of Lincoln City. Sakran was charged with Manufacture, Delivery and Possession of Heroin and Manufacture, Delivery and Possession of Methamphetamine. Curran was arrested on an outstanding felony warrants for probation violation.

Both Sakran and Curran were lodged at the Lincoln County Jail.
